Cancer, one of CRCHUQ’s primary research areas, is divided into six fields of study: cellular biology; functional genomics; oncology, medical physics, and experimental therapy; medicinal chemistry; clinical and translational, evaluative and epidemiological research; and psycho-oncology and palliative care. The center now has an impressive critical mass of researchers who have produced ground-breaking research on a diversity of complex subjects such as transgenesis and gene therapy.
